Where art, innovation, and the joy of living converge.
A one-night-only transformation of BCIT Aerospace into a living gallery — celebrating creativity, culture, and connection.
"One of the most satisfying moments in creative work is watching an idea transform from pure imagination into an unforgettable experience."
From Vision to Reality – The Art of Transformation
The event showcased masterpieces by Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Feng Xiaoming, Cai Guoqiang, Marc Chagall, and more — each piece thoughtfully curated to converse with modern technology and space design.
At the heart of the exhibit stood a 30’ x 9’ curved LED screen, glowing with cinematic art films including There Is No Why, Making of a Museum, and Death of a Poet.
A seamless blend of motion and stillness — art and emotion.
When sound, light, and emotion meet — magic happens.
“It wasn’t just a gala — it was a conversation between generations of creativity.”
The evening’s live violin performance by Yezu Woo filled the gallery with energy and grace.
Moments later, guests gathered for a thought-provoking art panel discussion with Thomas Krens, Jiechang Yang, Martina Köppel-Yang, Shengtian Zheng, and Diana Freundl — exploring the evolving dialogue between art, culture, and the modern world.
As the evening unfolded, the gallery space was reimagined once again — this time into an elegant reception and private dinner for 70 VIP guests.
Amid cocktails, conversation, and candlelight, the gala captured the true joie de vivre — the joy of art, community, and connection.
“Joie de Vivre 2025 was more than an event — it was a living work of art.”
From curation to staging, from tech to tables — every detail was crafted to merge artistry with emotion, precision with passion.
Grateful to every artist, curator, technician, and dreamer who helped turn vision into reality.
