Held at the elegant JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, the East by Northwest (EXNW) Summit 2025 brought together visionary leaders across film, television, streaming, gaming, and animation.
The summit’s mission is clear: to foster innovation in the Trans-Pacific creative ecosystem and strengthen global ties for Canada’s creative industries.

The Global Connector Awards Gala
The highlight of this year’s summit, the EXNW Global Connector Awards Gala, was hosted by the dynamic duo Kevin Vidal (award-winning actor) and Rakhee Morzaria (comedian, actor, writer).
Their effortless chemistry set the tone for an inspiring evening of celebration, creativity, and connection.
The night featured a powerhouse live performance by Warren Dean Flandez, the JUNO-nominated, multi–award-winning artist whose soulful vocals electrified the ballroom.
